Portrait of Lindsay Lewis

I am honored to continue serving the Pasadena Unified School District as the Director of Early Childhood Education while also leading the Webster Elementary School community. Having been on the Webster campus for the past year and a half, I have developed a deep appreciation for the school's culture, traditions, and the incredible students, staff, and families who make Webster such a special place.

I am passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where every child feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. My work in Early Childhood Education has strengthened my commitment to building strong educational foundations and creating a seamless pathway from preschool through graduation. I believe that when schools and families work together, students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Prior to my current role, I proudly served as principal of Sierra Madre Elementary School for six years. My journey with Pasadena Unified began as a first-grade student at Burbank Elementary School and continued through graduation as salutatorian of John Muir High School. Since 2002, I have had the privilege of serving our district as a classroom teacher, Learning Director/Resource Teacher (LDRT), instructional coach, principal, and now Director of Early Childhood Education. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of our district and a lifelong commitment to serving the Pasadena community.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to expanding opportunities for students through innovative learning experiences, including STEAM, the performing arts, and strong systems of academic and social-emotional support. I believe every student deserves engaging, meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence. My focus remains on fostering a welcoming school culture where students feel known, families feel connected, and staff members are empowered to do their best work.

I am grateful for the partnership and support of our dedicated teachers, staff, PTA, volunteers, and families who contribute so much to the Webster community. Together, we will continue to build upon Webster's tradition of excellence while preparing our students to become compassionate leaders, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners.

Please know that my door is always open. I encourage you to reach out with any questions, ideas, or concerns. I look forward to partnering with you as we continue making Webster Elementary a place where every child can learn, grow, and succeed.

Sincerely,

Dr. Lindsay Lewis
