At Daniel Webster School, we prepare our students to compete successfully and become informed and thoughtful citizens. Our students will leave Daniel Webster Elementary educated for independent thought and ethical action. They will move forward with a cultural awareness and a desire to lead and collaborate in the 21st century.

What Makes Our School Unique? 

  • The Webster STEAM Lab offers a space for students to learn and create in a STEAM makerspace/lab environment that includes experiential learning and 3D printing.

  • Webster offers weekly art and music instruction including general music, choir, and instrumental music; performing arts opportunities abound throughout the year, culminating with a school musical in the spring.

  • Webster offers an optional Armenian world language program and is proud to have a diverse student body and staff that promotes cultural awareness and an inclusive environment for all, including students with disabilities.

 

Recent Accomplishments

  • 19% Increase in ELA on CAASPP; 
  •  9% Increase in Math on CAASPP;
  • 16% Increase in Science on CAASPP
  •  PTA raised over $12,000 and Annual Fund raised over $25,000
     

Innovative Opportunities 

  • School-Wide Music Program: Each grade level received 45 minutes of General Music per week; also, 3rd, 4th, 5th grade students received Instrumental Music at least 45 minutes per week
  • Winter and Spring Fling Concerts
  • Increased Enrichment Opportunities: Chess Club, Spanish, Armenian Language and/History classes; Science Explosion, Lego Robotics, Coding, Science/Astronomy, Kid’s Cooking Academy, swimming, Innovation Club
  • Webster School Garden: Students have access to our outdoor science classroom.  Under the direction of our master gardener, students experience plant life from seed to decomposition and have the opportunity to create delicious meals from the garden.

Attendance Area and Open Enrollment

Webster Elementary School is a school of residence with an attendance area of families who have the privilege of enrolling based on their home address. Visit www.pusd.us to see if your family resides in the attendance area. Families not residing in a school’s area may apply through the District's annual Open Enrollment process.
